did y'all know that there is a Stonehenge in Texas?? it's about an hour and a half (if you include the pit stop at Dairy Queen) from us and perfect for a Saturday Adventure. it's 2/3rds scale of the original in England, and was built in 1949 by a farmer who had a thing for Stonehenge. i stumbled on a trick for cleaning glass shower doors and tiles with no effort.no effort! does that call out to anyone else??link herebasically she sprays lemon dust cleaner (like Pledge) and lets it sit for 15 min then scrubs off with a scotchbrite scratchy pad or magic eraser. says it stays clean for weeks after.im trying this tomorrow.

peanuts first slumber party was last night. mini corndogs and tater tots for dinner, lots of running around giggling, teeth brushing then off to bed at 7. then sippy cups and cheerios for breakfast with cartoons. they were all so excited to see each other when they woke up! yay!

yesterday we went on a "bike adventure!" we packed up and headed downtown to bike the missions- something we have wanted to do since we moved here. there are 5 missions, starting with the alamo and working southward, and are mostly about 3 miles apart. our starting point was Mission Concepcion, which was beautiful. we took a trip over to Caliente Harley Davidson today for a little Saturday family time. my boo's big project this weekend was building a gate in the fence- previously we had just removed a segment in the fence (totally ghetto, but functional), but now it looks fantastic! our sand covered little Peanut helped with everything-holding the bucket, picking up rocks, running off with the drill. a good time was had by all!
